Middle School

After breaking ground in September, crews have been focused on securing permits and preparing for construction to begin in November.

Upcoming Work: Building a strong foundation.
Engineers have designed a system of more than 300 aggregate piers—dense stone columns installed deep into the ground to support the new middle school addition. Each pier is formed by drilling into the soil, placing crushed rock, and compacting it in controlled layers using specialized equipment.

Next Steps

  • Continue installing aggregate piers

  • Bid date for renovation and new entryway scheduled for early 2026

Elementary School

Planning is underway for the Summer 2026 bid package, with construction scheduled to begin during Spring Break 2026.

High School

High school projects will move forward in three phases:

  1. HVAC improvements

  2. New weight room and locker room

  3. Remaining school renovations

HVAC bid date: November 11, 2025
Remaining work will go out to bid in February 2026

Reader Board & Signage Project

Outside of the bond scope, the district’s Reader Board and Signage Project has completed the permitting and approval process.

These new signs feature durable construction and energy-efficient LED technology. Three signs will be installed at key school and community locations by a separate contractor in the coming months.

Looking Ahead

  • Middle School: Foundation work underway

  • Elementary School: Preparing for Summer 2026 bid

  • High School: HVAC and renovation phases beginning soon
