Gervais Bond Construction Update | January Progress Report

Momentum continues across all campuses as we move into a busy spring construction season.

Elementary School
Construction on the new secure and accessible front entry and Administrative Office Area will begin over Spring Break, with the remaining work scheduled for Summer 2026. This project includes a new secure vestibule, upgrades to the existing entry and office area, student restroom improvements, and an exterior building refresh. The furniture review process is also underway as we plan for updated learning and office spaces.

Middle School
Behind the scenes, important infrastructure work is happening. Underground plumbing and electrical installation are underway, with concrete scheduled to be poured in the coming weeks.

High School
Gym HVAC improvements will take place after basketball season concludes. Construction on the locker room renovation and new weight room begins March 2nd, marking a major step forward in improving student athletic facilities.

Reader board & Signage Project
Permits were approved last week, and installation is targeted to begin in early February. The project team is coordinating closely with the District to minimize impacts to students and staff.

Seismic Grant Update
Gervais School District has officially applied for the 2026 Seismic Grant. Award announcements are expected in mid-May 2026.

Looking Ahead
• Elementary renovations begin in March
• Middle School site survey completion and underground utility installation
• High School improvement bids review and renovation construction start
