February Construction Update
Bond Construction Update
The district continues to make progress on bond-funded construction projects at the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Below is the latest update on current work, temporary changes, and what to expect next.
Elementary School
Construction on the front entry and administrative office area will begin over Spring Break. The rest of this work will continue during Summer 2026.
This project includes:
A new secure and accessible front entry vestibule
Upgrades to the existing front entry
Improvements to the administrative office area
Renovations to student restrooms
Exterior building refresh work
During construction, the school’s main entry will temporarily move to the side entrance.
Temporary Entry for Elementary School Students
As construction begins at the Elementary School, all kindergarten through fifth grade students will enter and exit the building through the east side doors starting on the first day of the temporary change.
For student drop-off and pick-up, families should continue using the designated car zone.
Middle School
Progress continues at the Middle School.
Current work includes:
Concrete pour scheduled for March 23
Underground plumbing work underway
Underground fire sprinkler work underway
Underground electrical work underway
High School
Several improvement projects are moving forward at the High School.
Current work includes:
Gym HVAC work will take place after basketball season and special events are complete
Construction on the locker room and new weight room project began on March 2
Reader Board and Signage Project
The district’s new reader board has been installed.
Construction took place during the last week of February. The district is now completing the training and registration process needed to begin using the new sign.
Looking Ahead
Here is what is coming next across the district:
Elementary School
A series of renovation projects will begin construction in March.
Middle School
Concrete work is expected to begin on March 23.
High School
The district will review high school improvement bids and begin construction on approved renovation projects.
