Gervais Bond Construction Update | May 2026

Construction progress continues across all Gervais School District campuses, and each month brings exciting new milestones as these projects begin taking shape for our students, staff, and community.

At the Elementary School, work in the administration area is moving steadily forward. With framing now complete, crews are transitioning into drywall, painting, siding, and window installation. The new entryway is also starting to come together, with concrete recently poured. In June, landscaping and new fencing will help bring the updated front entrance to life.

At the Middle School, framing has officially wrapped up, marking a major construction milestone and giving the building its full structural form. Next up, crews will begin installation of the roof structure and roofing systems. June will also bring the start of major interior work, including mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler, and electrical systems. Underground utility work and exterior improvements are also set to begin, including installation of water, storm, sanitary sewer, and electrical infrastructure.

At the High School, early bid work is nearing completion, and the new AHU units are scheduled to begin startup this week. The new weight room is also approaching completion. Looking ahead to June, crews will begin renovations to the science labs and restrooms, while demolition work begins for the future art room renovation.

Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for your continued patience and support as we invest in the future of Gervais schools. We are excited to continue sharing progress along the way.
