Gervais School District | June Construction Update

Progress is picking up across all three of our building projects this month. Here's where things stand:

Elementary School

Renovations are moving on multiple fronts. Crews have been painting the main gym and installing plumbing in the bathrooms, while demolition and replacement of the school's east wall is now underway. Plywood has gone up on the walls to prep for new windows, and the new electrical service has been energized, with work on the new electrical panels continuing. Each step brings us closer to a refreshed, modern space for our students.

Middle School

We're making steady headway toward completing the framing of the new building, including the structural framework for the walls, floors, and roof. Remodeling of the existing middle school building has also begun, along with work on the underground utilities and the new parking lot. These milestones mark real momentum as the project continues forward.

High School

The high school is currently in the demolition and abatement phase, with under-slab plumbing underway in the north and south restrooms. Rough-in work for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems has started in the science labs, culinary spaces, and locker rooms, setting the stage for the next phase of construction.
