The Gervais School District is asking the community to weigh in on an unexpected requirement that could cost up to $500,000 and impact other 2024

Bond projects. The City of Gervais has tied the district’s ability to open the new middle school building next fall to building a sidewalk that was not part of the original bond plan.

This new requirement could mean reducing, delaying, or removing other planned improvements. It also raises concerns about safety and the loss of mature trees along the high school property.
